Introduce Communit-at-large to the Philadelphia Commission on
         Universal Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) and the work of the Commission
     +  Listen to the concerns about Universal Pre-K from Daycare Providers/
         Directors, Teachers/Workers, Families, and the Community
     +  Describe Quality Early Childcare Programs, including the Keystone Stars
         Program (Commonwealth of PA Rating System used to determine quality
         Pre-K programs in the state)
     +  Explain state funding for chilscare and Pre-K programs
     +  Provide Commission Contact Information

     +  Area Elected Officials and/or Representatives from their Offices
     +  Area Day Care Providers,Directors, Family and Group Providers, School
         District Run Programs and their Teachers/Workers
     +  Area Families
     +  Concerned community Members

About the Commission:  On May 19, 2015, the Commission on Universal Pre-Kindergarten was
created with overwhelming support from more than 80% of Philadelphia voters.  The Commission is
charged with proposing a universal pre-kindergarten program that provides high quality, affordable,
and accessible educational services to three- and four-year olds throughout Philadelphia.  The
Commission on Universal Pre-Kindergarten is guided by the principle that high-quality early childhood
education has the potential to produce life-long learners who will become contributing citizens.
