Special Education Law Firm Frankel & Kershenbaum to Sponsor and Participate in Walk Now for Autism Speaks

Date: September 24, 2011

The Montgomery County special education law firm of Frankel & Kershenbaum sponsored and participated in Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Sept. 24, 2011, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Walk Now for Autism Speaks is the signature fundraising event for Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization. Each year Walk Now for Autism Speaks brings together hundreds of thousands of participants across the United States and Canada, with a common goal of supporting vital autism research. In 2010, the Frankel & Kershenbaum Walk Now team exceeded its fundraising goal and was recognized as a Top Team. This year the firm raised even more for this worthy cause. Frankel & Kershenbaum founding members, Dave Frankel and Josh Kershenbaum, encouraged friends and family to join the Frankel & Kershenbaum Walk Now team. “As attorneys focusing on special education law, we encounter many families that struggle to obtain the best education possible for their children with autism,” stated Frankel. “Autism is a complex, challenging disorder that is currently without a clear definitive cause. Frankel & Kershenbaum is proud to participate in Autism Speaks’ fundraising efforts.”
