Beth Schierse is a vigilant advocate with over 20 years of experience working with children with special needs and their families. Beth began her career in Speech and Language Pathology and in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Before joining Kershenbaum & Raffaele, Beth worked in home programs, privately serving and supporting families. She also served as an Inclusion Specialist and consultant to school districts to craft appropriate plans for students with disabilities. Beth worked with parents and school teams to ensure students’ IEPs were appropriate, observed learning environments, making recommendations for modifications and adaptations, and followed clients through Progress Monitoring. She has extensive experience working with students of varying disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities in Reading, Writing and Math, anxiety and emotional challenges, behavioral needs, and medical needs. She received her B.A. from West Chester University in Communicative Disorders. Beth is also a parent of children with special needs who personally understands the challenges families face in navigating the special education system.
