Sipi is a talented attorney with a particular interest in special needs planning and strong background in public health insurance law. Sipi believes that every family should have access to counseling to ensure appropriate estate planning. Sipi continues to devote substantial time to counseling older individuals as well as family members of individuals with disabilities and works with clients across all income levels and with many and few assets. She understands the unique planning requirements of her clients and is highly experienced in guardianships, special needs planning, and other estate planning. Sipi has taught for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and is a frequent speaker on many legal aspects of health and health access issues, including Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care, and special needs trusts. Sipi enjoys educating seniors, families, and advocates on the importance of having a proper estate plan and their rights to health and other benefits under the law. Sipi began her career at a public interest law firm as a fellow with funding from the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network. There, Sipi represented lower-income individuals, navigating and overcoming the legal, administrative, and financial obstacles that had previously limited or prevented her clients’ access to health care and services. She is the recipient of the 2011 Shuster Fellowship Award for deserving public interest attorneys. Sipi was then trained in special needs and guardianship matters at a private estate planning law firm. Prior to establishing Gupta Law Firm, Sipi served as Of Counsel for a boutique special education firm, providing special needs estate planning services exclusively to clients of the firm. Sipi earned her J.D. from Temple University, Beasley School of Law, where she was an officer of the Moot Court Honor Society and student member of the Temple American Inn of Court for professionalism and ethics.
